    Windy Acres helps the earth by reducing its carbon footprint. Our farm takes pride in reusing by cutting back on plastics and paper so we can all live on a healthy planet. We have also found a way to recycle Styrofoam. If you purchase a flower pot from Windy Acres you may find underneath the flower and the soil some carefully placed Styrofoam. There are three reasons for this. Firstly, it helps to aerate the plant’s root system and enables the roots to grow. Secondly, the flower pot will be a little more lightweight for your added convenience. And lastly, we just can’t stand to know that there isn’t a second hand use for Styrofoam and we want to give it a better home than the landfill. Windy Acres also takes care of the earth by reusing clean packing boxes and plastic flower containers. In fact, if there is any way to conserve and keep the planet clean and healthy we try to do our best to keep Mother Earth happy.

    Windy Acres began in 1985 when Wayne and Daryl Srail saw the farm as an opportunity to grow what they love and to have the chance to share their affection for growing healthful products. The farm is run by family members and intends to remain a small business entity, but the ideas and  traditions are ever growing. We pride ourselves in our customer service and know a lot of our customers by name. We are here to help people learn about the food they eat and we know the importance of recognizing where food comes from. Our farm intends to continue educating people about the flowers they grow so they are able to have a garden that they can love throughout the season. We can only gain from our customer’s happiness so we take pleasure in saying that we only carry top quality products. Our quality control is top notch and we only wish for our customers satisfaction in every bite of produce and a smile at every bloom and blossom in their flower bed. Our high spirited associates value customers and put in long hours to present only the best.  We are here to establish long term friendships so we can gain the respect needed to carry on relationships for many years to come.

    Windy Acres is a family farm that raises flowers and produce to supply the charming town of Geneva in Illinois and has dispensed products and services to ensure satisfied customers over the past 24 years. We grow flowers and produce classic and common to the climate in Illinois and bring new and innovative ideas through the designs in which we created our planted pots. Our produce is grade A because of immense dedication to ensure perfection. Windy Acres takes 100% pride in the work that is given to the community and with top quality service and products the neighborhood thinks so too.
